These terms and conditions govern your use of the Dial Select website at www.dialselect.com and any transactions you undertake with Dial Select Ltd ("Dial Select", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered address is 12 Bruton Street, London, W1J 6QD.
By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
We endeavour to accurately describe all watches we offer for sale, including condition, year, reference, and any accompanying documentation or accessories. All watches are pre-owned and are sold as described. Where condition is noted as "excellent" or "very good", this is an independent assessment by our specialists and is intended as a guide only.
Every watch sold by Dial Select has been authenticated by our specialist team. Each watch is sold with a 12-month Dial Select guarantee covering mechanical defects. This guarantee does not cover accidental damage, water ingress, or damage caused by misuse. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
All prices are stated in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT where required. Payment must be made in full before a watch is dispatched or handed over. We accept bank transfer, credit card, and debit card. We do not accept cash payments in excess of £10,000 in accordance with UK anti-money laundering regulations.
We offer fully insured next-day delivery within the United Kingdom. International shipping is available by arrangement. Risk in the watch passes to the Buyer upon delivery. Title passes to the Buyer upon receipt of cleared funds.
If you purchase a watch remotely (i.e., without inspecting it in person at our premises), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, provided the watch is returned in the same condition as delivered. To initiate a return, please contact us at Sales@dialselect.co.uk within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Buyer unless the watch was misdescribed or faulty.
Valuations provided by Dial Select are indicative only and are subject to physical inspection of the watch. A final offer will be made following authentication. We reserve the right to withdraw or revise any offer if the watch differs from its description.
By submitting a watch for sale, you warrant that you are the legal owner of the watch and that it is free from any third-party claims, charges, or encumbrances. You further warrant that the watch is not stolen and has not been acquired in breach of any law. We reserve the right to conduct due diligence and verify the provenance of any watch presented to us.
Once we have completed authentication and agreed a final price, funds will be transferred to the Seller's nominated UK bank account, typically within 48 hours. We may request proof of identity and bank account details in accordance with our AML obligations before releasing payment.
We offer free, fully insured collection from an address specified by the Seller. Risk in the watch passes to Dial Select upon collection. The Seller should retain adequate insurance until collection has been confirmed.
Part-exchange transactions are subject to both the buying and selling terms above. A part-exchange offer is valid for seven days from the date of issue and is subject to inspection of the watch being offered in part exchange.
Dial Select Ltd is required to comply with the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 and associated UK legislation. For certain transactions, we are legally obliged to verify the identity of buyers and sellers and may request documentation such as a passport, driving licence, or utility bill. We may also be required to report suspicious transactions to the relevant authorities. We take our AML obligations seriously and will not facilitate transactions where we have reasonable grounds to suspect the proceeds of crime.
All content on the Dial Select website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Dial Select Ltd and is protected by UK and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dial Select's total liability to you in connection with any transaction shall not exceed the purchase price of the watch in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Access to our website is provided free of charge. We do not guarantee that the site will be available at all times or free from errors. We reserve the right to suspend, withdraw, or restrict access to all or part of the website without notice. You are responsible for ensuring that anyone who accesses our website through your internet connection is aware of these terms.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of any transaction shall be the version that applies to that transaction.
